Executive Summary

Telephonetics plc was established by Bill Burgar and Anthony Mckay in 1993 as a UK-based telecommunications business, focusing on computer telephony and advanced speech recognition solutions. Core products include advanced speech recognition applications that improve a company's internal and external communications; MovieLine, a cinema information and booking service; and ContactPortal, an intelligent call routing application driven by voice recognition, enhancing an organisation's incoming and internal call handling capabilities. On 7 July 2005 Telephonetics plc was floated on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market, following a reverse takeover of Leptis Magna plc, an AIM-quoted shell company.
