Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust (TEMIT) is the UK's largest global emerging markets investment trust capitalised at over £2bn. It aims be fully invested in stocks which are cheaper than their "real value" and strategy is not limited by market trends, country or industry sector. Since it's launch in 1989 the trust has produced Sterling annualised returns of 15.0% vs. 11.4% from it's benchmark, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. [1]
