I have created this thread since the previous Stockopedia | US GROWTH STOCKS | By yiannos1 thread was becoming increasingly difficult to access due to the number of comments. There are still of course many worthwhile comments on that thread, not least those by Yiannos.

When the US markets open this afternoon I intend as a capital preservation measure to sell a number of shares in Rocket Lab USA (NAQ:RKLB) equal in value to my original investment since they have now gone up by well over 150%. I learnt during the dot com boom in 2000 that it was common for shares that rose this quickly to lose value even more quickly.

I will invest the money in Broadcom (NSQ:AVGO) , a supplier of semiconductors and data centre infrastructure which has risen 60% or so in the past year and reports next month.
