Thanks for posting this. £JLEN is the sort of thing investors might consider an 'alternative asset' for portfolio diversification. Its good points are a beta of 0.357 and a well-covered dividend of 5.7%. The management ongoing charge is 1.32% which seems reasonable. The spread is just under 0.5% which acceptable for a small company. The shares trade on average at a premium to NAV of 8.8% but currently the premium is 16% which makes them a little expensive. Overall JLEN looks like a good solid company that will grow slowly and steadily and hold its price when the indices fall. But there are other alternative assets around that appear better value such as £PIN and £HVPE (I hold). And if one isn't too bothered by the NAV then £TRIG might be a better buy judging by its recent gains.
