It is possible to create a 50 day (10 week) moving average line of the Volume; and overlay this line on the Volume bars under a stock chart.
This is useful as part of the process of identifying a break out of the price: for example lower than average Volume during a narrow price range sideways period, followed by a much higher Volume when the price spikes up.
Is it possible for Stockopedia to add this line as an overlay over Volume?
I don't think you can overlay it on a chart but you can screen for something very near it by using the "3m Avg Vol" ratio. (3m is about 12 weeks.)
