West African Diamonds plc has been formed as a demerged company from its original parent, African Diamonds plc, to give its Shareholders a more focused diamond exploration operation in Sierra Leone and Guinea. The Company's strategy following Admission will be as follows: * to provide focused management and financial resources to its operations in Sierra Leone and Guinea; * to develop a large gold and diamonds tailings resource with mining licences; * to develop high grade diamond dykes adjacent to an existing mine; * to develop alluvial diamond mining opportunities on the Company's properties on Bomboko river plains; * to investigate exploration targets on existing licences; and * to identify and acquire diamond and other mineral prospective land.
