What happened to Insider Ranks or Major Shareholdings...

It would be great to be able to view a list of the Major shareholders for a given company and also to show Director or Insider holdings

I am aware that you can view latest Director/PDMR Trades under the accounts tab and it also shows the resultant % holding of that PDMR but if they have never sold or bought additional shares since IPO or since records began on Stocko then we have no idea that they have any holding...

I found an old thread saying that it was coming in some shape or form here but it was last updated in 2014??

Has this project been shelved?

Why don't you ask Stocko rather than subscribers via the green button in the right hand bottom corner? Probably more likely to get an accurate and timely response that way.

Thanks for the question.

Yes - we were working on an add-on called Smart Money (Please see here). We did shelve this project temporarily because a key member of our (small) team left and we needed to reprioritise.

We should be able to pick this project up as we go forward though. I can't promise a deadline here, but we will of course keep everyone updated as we make further progress.

Hi InvestorJohn I find Barclays stock brokers quite good for this. You don't have to have an account with them. Paste this into your browser https://stockbrokers.webfg.com/
Then search by company name. Then look at the bottom under "company information" and "Director Deals"

Thanks for that Warranstar - I have used that in the past but I suppose my frustration is that a free service has the information and stockopedia has not so l am having to jump around between all these sites to find what should be included in stocko

Thanks for raising this important issue; I have raised it myself on a Stockopedia feedback survey.
.
Whilst the numbers are very important we do need to also know whether Directors think like owners or employees. I am always interested to know the holdings of the Chief Executive and the Finance Director. I also find it encouraging when Non Executive Directors take a stake in the company as this suggests their participation in the company will be motivated rather than nominal.
