What should I have been looking for in Stockopedia to foretell their crash?

The most quick sign of an issue for me would be the Value Trap style classification - that suggests it's cheap for a reason, plus the low StockRank.
Brokers have been cutting estimates for a long time - always a bad sign:
The yield is crazy high (14%) which suggests an issue... and dividends have been being cut for several years in a row - another bad trend !
And quite a bit of debt... it's 100% geared. This can be ok in a seriously cash generative business... but this business is losing money !
I'd have steered clear of this one.
