I've just posted up an article looking at a few alternative assets - wine, art and cars are featured, but also forestry and agricultural land. I've seen some quite interesting collective investment schemes for agriculture - decent income, 5-7 year term so not over-onerous in that regard.
I'd be interested to know what experience stockopedia members have of these different asset classes - and whether it's wanting diversification that is the motive, or whether it's just wanting better returns than the rather pathetic amount you can get on your bank balance!
