Having received my stockbroker's letter today, I am doing the arithmetic. The Offer of 0.0846 Endeavor share at today's price of 24.22 Canadian dollars for each of Centamin's, with an exchange rate of 1.71 Canadian dollars to the pound Sterling indicates to me that on today's valuations it would be as well to sell my holding rather than continue. The 'put up or shut up' deadline on the offer runs out tomorrow on the 31st of December. I think the offer assumes a continually increasing valuation in Endeavor shares but personally am sceptical. Has any reader got any views on this?
To add to my post, I would like to know if there is anything that Endeavor could do with Centamin that Centamin cannot do for itself?
