XG® Technology, Inc. has produced a new low-power, long-range communications technology called xG Flash Signal. xG Flash Signal uses single cycle modulation to boost the range of wired and wireless communication devices. Incorporated into products as a new physical layer "PHY" chipset, xG Flash Signal can also reduce a device's RF output power, resulting in improved battery life. Field performance results have shown xG Flash Signal capable of wirelessly sending high speed data significantly farther than other approaches at equal transmit power, height and frequency. This improvement in range can result in dramatic reductions in the amount of network infrastructure required to cover a given area.
xG Technology has developed xG Flash Signal in stealth mode over the last seven years, completing R&D on the core technology, including theoretical and mathematical expression, empirical validation, and the public demonstration of pre-commercial prototypes.xG is now in the initial phases of the commercial rollout of xMax, a wireless voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) base station and handset product line differentiated by improved range, speed and power savings benefits.

Market & Competition
The Company believes that the ability to deliver mobile VoIP services on a city wide basis using as little as a single base station presents a powerful business opportunity for competitive service providers looking for alternatives to relying on incumbent networks. Recognizing that perhaps the highest value will be in the mobile broadband industry, xG Technology views VoIP as a stepping-stone to the fourth generation (4G) wireless market. Successive product releases will evolve to meet 4G mobile broadband capabilities including high speed video and data. xG's long-term strategy is to deliver xG Flash Signal as a PHY chip for inclusion within multiple products across both wired and…
