Investment Strategy
I trade... weekly
I tend to buy... after much research
Diversification is ... essential to reduce risk
My long term holdings are mainly in large cap USA dividend growth stocks and as I think the sector is difficult to research adequately, a couple of funds in biotech/pharma. Most of my short term, 6-24 month hold, is in UK small-mid cap growth. My target is about 50-50 between the two portfolios.

My view on RWS Holdings (LON:RWS) was a good company but too expensive. Todays fall looks overdone to me and may provide a decent entry price for a company I would view as a medium/long term investment. I am not particularly seeking opinions on value at the current price of 390p but what perhaps is a more fundamental question about the affect of AI on…

I have just received email purporting to be from Equity Development requesting I complete a 2018 registration form, a quite genuine looking proforma which at the bottom requests my credit card details! ED have confirmed this is a scam and I have copied said mail to them. I mailed ED last week requesting to be added back on their mail list and so it looks…

Taptica International (LON:TAP) Extract from Taptica website- "Hagai Tal joined Taptica in 2010 as a major shareholder and became the Company’s Chief Executive Officer in December 2013. Mr Tal has invested in, led and developed a number of companies through successful growth, continued investment and the IPO/disposal process. These companies include Kontera, Amadesa, Payoneer, BlueSnap (formerly Plimus) and Spark Networks (NYSE:LOV). Mr Tal’s previous positions…

Hi Jonno, I believe Creightons (LON:CRL) has a lot further to go. The new production capacity is far from fully utilsed as the tube facility will only be in production for the final 3 months of FY3/19. They also have ideas to add extra shifts once whole of upgrade completed. The net margin is improving- they are relinqushing lower profit margin customers; they help design/formulate…

Creightons (LON:CRL) have/are renewing all the production equipment over a 12 month period. The bottling equipment is done and in full production, the tube filling will be concluded by December. This is increasing capacity by 20-25% and is a one off required because of excessive demand from their customers and increases in their own label sales. I suggest the new gear should last for a…

Just sent this tweet out re Flybe (LON:FLYB) if £50M that's a doubling of sp Bought #FLYB as #STOB would have had to pay £125-150M in Feb but maybe £50M now? Stobart operate Southend Airport, franchise routes for Flybe/Aer Lingus, aircraft leasing op and ground handling bus inc Easyjet at Stanstead. Synergies obvious. Also hold #STOB up tdy on expectation 3:55 PM - 14 Nov…

Hi, Do you know the average length of lease liability for their stores? Next (LON:NXT) and Superdry (LON:SDRY) generally won't sign up for terms more than 5 years or have a tenant break clause at 5 years if a longer lease. As the leases are on rolling renewals it enables them to reliquish a large part of the bricks and mortar liabilities quickly. It also…
