It may not be an original thought, but have you looked at the difference in performance if you'd had a fixed percentage stoploss in place? I would imagine that if you buy a basket of shares using a Stockopedia screen, it's not a big leap to, for example, sell any shares that hit -10% and then have a rule that reinvests the proceeds.

Thanks Mark. I don't use broker stop loss and don't have a spread bet account, its all manual for me. I keep an eye on markets, but yes, there's a chance that the market moves quicker and I'll lose out.
