Occupation: Private Investor

Fantasy Fund: HHRCLIM

About Me:

I started investing in 1994.

Although I use Stockopedia to check a few key metrics I am primarily a 'big picture story' type of investor - I am not good at analysing accounts in detail.

I try to invest for the super long term (ideally indefinitely) and I am looking for companies with excellent market trends or outstanding management.

Thanks - duly corrected! I did say I didn't have the brain for accounts...…! Thanks again

Hello John, I have printed below the quick comparison I make; My confidence to invest in a share reduces proportionally with the numberof years in which Normalised eps exceeds Op. cashflow. One year is probably OKbut more than 3 is pretty much a red flag for me. So for me, the above stockreport from Bloomsbury Publishing (LON:BMY) is fine as Op. cashflowis only materially lower…

I totally agree with you about operating cashflow vs earnings. This quick measure is in the Zulu Principle and over the years it has really worked well for me in avoiding disasters.

From £tcm's Finals RNS :- "as a result of the sale Telit will [be] focused on the industrial IoT and improvement [in] Group wide margins."
