Stocko screens combined with making sure that the stock is breaking out of stage 1, or in stage 2. Getting out out stage 3 / 4 (favorite investment book is the very nice and simple book Stan Weinstein's "Secret for Profiting in Bull and Bear Markets". ............................................................................. Cutting losers that breach your pre-defined support levels fast, but letting winners run (but will top slice when things look to be getting ahead of themselves). ............................................................................................................ Keeping it simple with respect to charts (I only look at Share price chart, some simple moving averages on both share price and volume, daily volume ,and a relative strength vs indice chart).

I really like Stockopedia for its screens on fundamentals, and the charts are good. I also understand that they are working on improving the Technical analysis capability of Stockopedia. I’m really looking forward to seeing this released (I don’t think we have an ETA for this). But in the interim, can anyone recommend any online sites (either free, or reasonable subscription), that are good for…

Hi Jack, suggested additional stocks to review in an upcoming episode ServiceNow Inc (New York Stock Exchange ticker NOW) Polar Capital Technology Trust (London stock ticker PCT). Match Inc (Nasdaq stock ticker MTCH) Thanks

Jack, I really like this format where you do Tech Analysis on stock requests (plus stocks you like that you think are nearing breakout or just broken out). Its a winning formula for a great youtube channel.

Hi Carey, excellent post, and look forward to reading updates as to how the fantasy fund is fairing (the good, the bad, and the ugly). Are you screening or primarily basing buys and sells based on where you feel you have some sort of discretionary edge? For example why is Frontier Developments in your portfolio (I'm partly playing devils advocate here, as I think they…

Fully agree with donald ponds and HumourMe's recommendation on Stan Weinstein's book. I've been re-reading it last week (must be the 3rd or 4th time I've read it). It really is a great book and very reasonably priced on Amazon (currently listed on Amazon for £13.41). There are a couple of really good websites that are heavily based around Stan's Stage Analysis principleshttps://stageanalysis.net/forum/index.phphttps://www.nextbigtrade.com/stage-analysis/
