Buying into a Super Stock When I first bought shares in Computacenter (LON:CCC) I had split the proceeds from the sale of my Avesco shares following the latter being taken over. I split the proceeds into 3 different companies: DCC (LON:DCC) - 50% of the cash went into this share, and I've recently exited this position at a healthy profit; SCISYS (LON:SSY) - 20% of…

Hi All, Just a quick post to get some feedback on my video on Vislink (LON:VLK) following their announcement regarding the sale of Vislink Communications systems. http://www.investegate.co.uk/vislink-plc--vlk-/rns/conditional-asset-sale-of-vcs/201610201242180852N/ In essence, this just leaves the company with far less debt and Pebble Beech systems, which by all accounts is doing well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yFukNm2BBQ Grateful for thoughts either way. Regards, Dave Sullivan.

£RBGP looks to have made an interesting acquisition:Max consideration of £22m for a business that earned PBT of £4.3m last year.Max cash cost of £8.8m and rest in shares @120p and 140p or the SP if higher.Regards,Dave S.

Probably not of interest to most, but the announcements from £EDGE are interesting......if only to illustrate the type of stock that everyone should steer clear of IMHO.Value destruction on a grand scale and clear evidence in non independent directors!Jobs for the boys at its worst.

Another one for £DUKE please - results look in-line, but no real detail on the restructuring of the debt and the dividend outlook seems to have been reducing from 3.6p to 3.3p currently.Outlook is a little foggy in my view, more for what it doesn't say as opposed to what it does.

There is an interesting discussion over on The Investors Podcast with Tobias Carlisle regarding value.I would encourage a listen for those interested - there is also a discussion on the most recent one regarding shorting Netflix.Regards,Sully.
