Not a bad idea. I will have a look and see how far I get with tracking down some of the top brass at Iweb. I did have a quick look at some of the other brokers, HL in particular were massively more expensive than IWeb. So whilst I would have avoided the WHT issue with HL I would have paid a lot more over…

Yeah, I got a lot of excuses from them that were a best ehhh BS, when I pointed this out the guy just fell back on "business decision" and kept repeating it every sentence. It frustrates me even more as WHT is not supposed to apply to SIPP's so they have gone out of their way to tax something that should be exempt. I pointed…

You will have paid the full 30% US With Holdings Tax (WHT) on your ISA investments with Iweb. They made "a business decision" that W8BEN's do not apply to Somero shares. I have no idea what the bleep the reason was. The person I spoke to was a 'duh....ehhh....computer says "no"' kinda guy. Not only that they DO NOT show the tax as having been…

Filta Group (LON:FLTA) Share Based Payments (SBP) get me. The made an Operating Profit of £1.8m and had SBP's of £300k, that is only marginally less than they paid out in dividends. 'Excessive' would be an understatement.
