Interesting article in today's Times on the use of graphene to strengthen asphalt. It's still in the experimental stage but indications are that it could increase the life of road surfaces by 2.5 times.

Bargepole. Uber are popular because they are cheap (when they are not surge charging). A probable consequence of now having to please the market (i.e. cease being massively loss making) is that fares will go up. I don't see any investment proposition here.

Excellent and much needed. Graphene has been on my back burner for some time ever since I read about researchers who used it to detect a spider's foot fall (only arachnophobes will understand). I was however put off by the amount of research required. Thanks again, I will be reading with interest over the coming days.
