They come round so quick and quite a few other events over the next few weeks too.

This is the first of two Mello events within just ten days as there is another Mello Central on Thursday 1st December too....so mark that one straight into your diaries. I will also know later today if French Connection have accepted my invitation as they were clear winners in the poll. That was before the profit warning and 30% share price fall though...mind you look on the bright side as they are now much cheaper for those who may want to take an interest and do their research ahead of the presentation and it is a fashion brand after all so shareholders have to accept the ups and downs that go with the territory.

Anyway tonight is our regular Mello Monday and I have two presentations lined up for you all. Firstly at 6.30pm Camco (CAO) will be in the hot seat and as most shareholders in that company when I meet them seem to struggle to explain exactly what they do and how they make their profits then I think an hour spent with Jeff Kenna their chairman and Scott McGregor their CEO should help immensely !

Following straight after at 7.30pm we will have IDOX who are completely the opposite and are well known to quite a few Mello attendees due to the appearance of Richard Kellett-Clarke at our Mello Central event in March. He gave an impressive account then and fortunately a good number of attendees were buyers and are extremely pleased with the company performance since and the almost 50% share price appreciation too.

I already have over thirty coming along and these are very contrasting companies in more ways than one so I hope you will join us for what will be a challenging presentation for the Camco guys in my opinion. Their share price chart is a total contrast to that of IDOX mainly due to the collapse of the carbon price in recent months. Will it recover and what lies in store for Camco if it does not in the near future ?

The dinner at 8.30pm is three courses plus coffee and you may arrive from 6pm for drinks. The restaurant is right opposite Beckenham Junction station which is just 20 minutes from Victoria by train (http://www.seasaltbeckenham.com/)…
