Working Capital/Total Assets TTM

Working Capital / Total Assets simply measures liquid assets as a proportion of total assets. It can be used to asses the financial strength of a company, given that a firm facing financials problems may experience shrinking liquidity.

A firm experiencing consistent operating losses may have shrinking current assets in relation to total assets. The finance academic, Edward I. Altman preferred to use this ratio to analyse a company's financial strength, because the current and quick ratios were subject to contradictory trends amongst failing firms.
