Sucker Stocks is the classification given to shares that have very low exposure to the three main factors in the StockRank Styles framework: Quality, Value and Momentum. These companies tend to be weak, unproven and unprofitable, their valuations are expensive but there is no momentum supporting them. This is the territory of some of the worst investment prospects in the stock market. Statistically, some of these shares will outperform, but the probability of success is very low.
