HELSINKI, April 11 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Thursday:

CHR. HANSEN CHR.CO

The Danish food ingredient maker reported a small drop in first half operating profit to 80 million euros ($104.68 million) from a year earlier as it took an 8 million euro non-cash charge over a failed probiotics study.

For the full-year, the firm continues to expect organic growth of 7-9 percent and an operating margin above last year's 26.5 percent.

The Swiss-Swedish engineering group is actively looking for acquisitions though it has set no specific target for purchases, its Chief Financial Officer Eric Elzvik told Swedish business daily Dagens Industri.

"With our strong financial position and good cash flows we have room in the period up until 2015 to spend a number of billions of dollars on acquisitions if we find good objects on the right terms," he was quoted as saying.

The telecom operator's sale of its Russian business to state-controlled bank VTB VTBR.MM was preceded by a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Christina Stenbeck, main owner of the operator, Dagens Industri reported without disclosing its sources.
