Avast plc is a provider of cybersecurity. The Company offers products in two segments: Consumer and Small and Medium-sized business (SMB). It offers consumer personal computer antivirus security software under the Avast and AVG brands. The Company's consumer products offer desktop security and mobile device protection and consist of free and premium paid products for the individual consumer market. It also focuses on monetizing the user base indirectly, via dynamic secure search solution, including the browser toolbar, which gives users a convenient way to access a search engine at any time.
