 Wall Street was playing a waiting game, Tuesday, with stocks under pressure. 
Investors are waiting to see if the US Federal Reserve changes its language with
regard to being patient about raising interest rates. Adding to the negative 
tone, weak housing data; US housing starts tumbled 17% to their lowest level in 
a year in February as harsh winter weather took its toll. It's the latest sign 
the US economy hit a soft patch in the first quarter. Let's check some 
individual stocks in the news. 

American Airlines rallied nearly 6% on news the company will enter the S&P 500 
on Friday. It replaces Allergan, the maker of Botox. Shares of Black Diamond 
surged more than 28%. The maker of outdoor sports gear said it's exploring 
strategic alternatives for its brands after reporting Q4 results that fell short
of analysts' estimates. Shares of Oracle were down nearly 1%. The software maker
reports quarterly results after the close. It will be the second earnings report
for Oracle for which Larry Ellison won't be at the helm as CEO. Ellison still is
Oracle's Chief Technology Officer
