RAPID CITY, S.D. - Jan. 30, 2014 - The Black Hills Corp. (NYSE: BKH) board of directors today
declared a quarterly dividend on the corporation's common stock. Shareholders of record at the
close of business on Feb. 14, 2014, will receive $0.39 per share, payable on March 1, 2014.

The quarterly dividend was increased by $0.01 per common share to $0.39 per share, equivalent to
an annual increase of $0.04 and dividend rate of $1.56 per share.
