           Production Results of Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant for 9M 2015            

Chelyabinsk, Russia - October 16, 2015 - Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (LSE, MICEX:
CHZN), Russia's largest producer of zinc and zinc alloys, is pleased to
announce its production results for the nine months ended September 30, 2015.

Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (CZP) produced 131,013 tonnes of salable SHG zinc and
zinc based alloys in 9M 2015, the same volume as in 9M 2014 (131,469 tonnes).
57.8% of metal was supplied to the domestic market (9M 2014 - 52.6%).

CZP's affiliated company, Nova Zinc LLC, operator of Akzhal zinc and lead ore
mine in Kazakhstan, produced 27,185 tonnes of zinc in zinc concentrate in 9M
2015, the same level as in 9M 2014 (26,981 tonnes) and 4,197 tonnes of lead in
lead concentrate (vs. 4,113 tonnes in 9M 2014).

CZP's subsidiary, The Brock Metal Company Limited (the leading UK supplier of
zinc die-casting alloys) sold 28,647 tonnes of zinc alloys in 9M 2015, an
increase by 19% as compared to 9M 2014 (24,148 tonnes).

Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant is the leading Russian zinc producer. In 2014 the plant
produced 168,601 tonnes of saleable SHG zinc.

According to consolidated IFRS accounts, revenue in 2014 was RUB 16,508 mln and
EBITDA was RUB 3,825 mln.

Ordinary shares of CZP are traded on the Moscow exchange MICEX-RTS under ticker
CHZN and Global Depository Receipts (GDR) are traded on the London Stock
Exchange under ticker CHZN.
