Downers Grove, IL, August 7, 2014 - The Board of Directors of Dover (NYSE: DOV) today increased its quarterly cash dividend to $0.40 (forty cents) per share, from the previous $0.375 (thirty-seven and one-half cents) per share, an increase of $0.025 (two and one-half cents) or 7%. This is the 59th consecutive year in which the Company has increased its annual cash dividend. With this increase, Dover has the fourth longest record of consecutive annual dividend increases of all listed companies, as reported by Mergent's Dividend Achievers.

This increased dividend will be paid on September 15, 2014 to shareholders of record as of August29, 2014.
