German stocks - Factors to watch on February 26

BERLIN/FRANKFURT, Feb 26(Reuters) - The following are some
of the factors that may move German stocks on Friday:
    
    CORONAVIRUS
    The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Germany
increased by 9,997, death toll rose by 394.
    France said on Thursday it would bring in new COVID-19
restrictions for the Moselle area around its common border with
Germany, as President Emmanuel Macron's government tries to

    Digital vaccination certificates enabling people to travel
in Europe despite the coronavirus pandemic will probably be
available before the summer, German Chancellor Angela Merkel

     CureVac chief Franz-Werner Haas said on Thursday that
preliminary trials on animals of the company's COVID-19 vaccine
candidate show it is effective against the UK and South African
variants.

    Daimler has picked banks to help with the planned listing of
its trucks unit that the carmaker seeks to increase its investor
appeal as a focused electric, luxury car business, people close
