(Adds company statement, details on the unit restarts) HOUSTON, March 1 (Reuters) - Lyondell Basell Industries LYB.N began restarting the large crude distillation unit (CDU) and the gasoline-producing fluidic catalytic cracker (FCC) at its 263,776-barrel-per-day (bpd) Houston refinery on Monday, said three sources familiar with plant operations. Lyondell plans to complete the restart of the 147,000-bpd Unit 537 CDU and 90,000-bpd FCC this week, the sources said. The company is also restarting production on the coker Lyondell spokeswoman Chevalier Gray declined to comment. Unit 537 was at operating temperature and circulating feed on Monday and could resume production by midweek, the sources said. The FCC is being warmed up and could return to production by early next week, according to the sources. The refinery is also restarting a coker, the sources said.
