    Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte warned Italians on Thursday
they would have to shun "hugs and kisses" at Christmas to help
contain the coronavirus, as the country struggles to curb a
surge in deaths and infections. 
    Italy registered 36,176 new cases and 653 COVID-related
fatalities over the past 24 hours with the northern Lombardy
region, centred on the financial capital Milan, once again

    Italy's debt issuance in 2021 will be in line with this
