The Trust's investment objective is to achieve long-term capital growth by investment in the United Kingdom quoted smaller companies. The Trust invests in a managed portfolio of smaller and mid-sized companies in the United Kingdom equity market. The Trust's portfolio consists of approximately 60 individual holdings. No holding within the Trust's portfolio should exceed over 5% of total assets at the time of acquisition. The Trust may use derivatives for portfolio hedging purposes. The Trust's investment portfolio includes investments in various sectors, such as oil and gas, basic materials, industrials, healthcare, consumer goods, consumer services, telecommunications, utilities, financials and technology. Standard Life Investments (Corporate Funds) Limited is the investment manager of the Trust.
