Profile Summary
USA Truck, Inc. provides capacity solutions to a diverse customer base throughout United States, into and out of portions of Canada, and Mexico. It transports freight by offering through-trailer service from its terminal in Laredo, Texas. It operates through two segments. The Trucking segment consists of the Company’s truckload and dedicated freight service offerings. Its truckload service offering provides motor carrier services as a medium-haul common and contract carrier, utilizing equipment owned or leased by the Company or independent contractors. Its dedicated freight service offering provides truckload motor carrier services to specific customers for movement of freight over particular routes at specified times. The USAT Logistics consists of the Company’s freight brokerage, logistics, and rail intermodal service offerings. Its fleet consists of approximately 2,065 tractors, which included approximately 628 independent contractor tractors, and approximately 6,263 trailers.
