Appointment of Broker and Issue of Equity

World Chess plc (LSE: CHSS), a leading chess organisation seeking to promote
the mass market appeal of chess globally through the offering of different
chess-related activities, is pleased to announce that it has appointed Novum
Securities Limited ("Novum") as sole broker to the Company with immediate
effect.

 

Novum has agreed to receive its first year's fee in new ordinary shares
("Shares") of the Company and as a result has been issued with 288,000 Shares.

 

Application is being made for the Shares to be admitted to trading on the Main
Market of the London Stock Exchange which is expected to be on or around 9
August 2023. The Shares rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares of
the Company. Following the issue of the Shares, the Company's issued ordinary
share capital shall consist of 667,193,501 ordinary shares. The figure of
667,193,501 represents the total voting rights in the Company and should be
used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they can
determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to
their interest in, the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's ("FCA")
Disclosure Guidance & Transparency Rules.
