Ed has been the steward of the Stockopedia mission since day one with the goal of building the systematic toolkit to solve his own behavioural biases. Ed was an Oxford Scholar, graduating with first class honours before going on to work as an asset manager and private client broker at Goldman Sachs. Ed has a mystery song on Youtube that gets playlisted more than the Beatles and likes to bowl awkward fast medium bouncers.
Dave previously worked as an Investment Director at Candover, Morgan Stanley and CSFB. MA in Law from Oxford and MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
Adil is the compute wizard behind the scenes at Stockopedia - building and scaling out the key architecture for our computation, ranking screening systems. Adil has a degree in Computer Science, was co-founder of a boutique Dubai consultancy and an early engineering hire at previous startups. He is also an occasional open source contributor. In his spare time Adil loves reading, gaming and open source.
Adam is the guardian of the Stockopedia brand and design ethic. It?s his job to make sure everything at Stockopedia looks great and feels like a joy to use. Whether it?s a button on the website or a postbox at a conference, Adam had a hand in it. He?s obsessed with liberating our users with great data and sharp design. Adam redesigned cloud-collaboration giant HighQ's platform and has worked at startups all the way from England to Australia. He's a massive petrolhead and loves keeping fit.
Marcin is leading the development of our new single page application at Stockopedia entirely driven with Angular.js, Coffeescript, Grunt, Bower and other front end technologies you probably haven't heard of. He previously worked at BT Fresca / Expedite and has a First Class degree in Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems from Oxford Brookes University, as well as a degree in Electrical Engineering. He loves traveling, watching movies, cooking and self development of any kind.
Vishal is the Chief Problem Solver at Stockopedia. With an enviable ability to get things done and make things scale his talents grace the full range of Stockopedia? services across data architecture, compute processes and API development. He has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and has previously powered VC backed ventures in Cloud Virtualisation, ecommerce and CRM/CMS development. Vishal spends most of his spare time reading and learning about new technologies, start-ups
Hemant is the principal lead who manages architecture for daily imports and computation processes which uses innovative algorithms to fuel some of the most important parts of Stockopedia - especially Fundamentals, Stockreport, Search, News and Aggregates. Hemant has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Pune University and has years of experience as full stack developer in start-up industry. Kuntal is the development lead for many API driven services at Stockopedia including Portfolios, Analytics, Events and Quotes. Kuntal previously worked on the REST layer for one of India's biggest financial portals at Rediff Moneywiz and has a post graduate diploma in Computer Applications. Apart from programming, he loves food, travelling and high quality cigarettes (but he's quit).
Ben is the overseer of Stockopedia's editorial content. His role encompasses writing, publishing and editing educational resources, guides and strategy reviews and occasionally bunking off to do interviews with famous investors at expensive restaurants. Ben has a History degree from Aberystwyth University and trained as a journalist, previously working for print and online publishers involved in business news, corporate finance and the stock market. He's a mountain bike junkie.
Alex is a research analyst and product manager at Stockopedia. He's charged with ensuring we deliver high quality databases and features to our subscribers. Alex has a BA in History and Politics and an MSc from the London School of Economics. He's a sports fan and keen runner, but mostly passionate about empowering private investors to manage their own portfolios !
Tom heads up our fundamental database ambitions, developing new and innovative metrics and ways to present them to subscribers. Tom trained as an accountant at Grant Thornton, is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and has passed all levels of the CFA. Outside of investing, Tom endlessly reads and learns about everything he can. He likes to keep fit, enjoys skiing and playing tennis and from time to time plays the odd strategy game.
Paul is the most prolific small cap analyst on the web. Razor sharp analysis, super speed, brutal honesty and occasional off-piste antics have earned him a huge following among private investors. He's been a professional investor since 2002, prior to which he spent eight years as Head of Finance for a chain of 150 ladieswear shops. He previously trained as an accountant, but flunked his finals. Paul has passion for small caps but can be distracted by cars, politics, jogging, cycling, beer & wine
Daniel leads the charge into the arcane at Stockopedia. With a Masters in Finance, CFA and CAIA to his name his interests lie in backtesting and implementing quantitative market strategies at scale. Having previously worked in both risk technology and investment analysis at Falcon & Tatra, he now codes up our library of financial functions, strategy testing and execution platform in KDB+/Q and the R language. We call Daniel's work Project Death Star - it's that magnificent.
Mithun is tasked with ensuring smooth sailing of the entire Stockopedia stack. He innovates with our infrastructure and ensures that every click, request and moment spent on the Stockopedia website is issue free or else! Mithun is a Certified Linux Administrator and Security Engineer with a Bachelors in Electronics and Communication Engineering. He loves to get involved in the latest open source technologies involving FOSS/Linux.
