You can't buy stocks on the Indian exchange or the Shanghai exchange. You can however buy Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, etc via IBKR (Interactive Brokers).

You could always buy Pacific Assets Trust (PAC) which invests in the Far East including the Countries you mentioned & seems to do it quite well.
