Would welcome any views on companies with majority shareholders. Had my fingers burnt previously with an unscrupulous sheikh with an AIM listed hotel vehicle. But many founder led/owned companies do stunningly well. Please share opinions & experiences.
You could check out Jarvis Securities (LON:JIM) which is controlled by the CEO and his family via their shareholdings. Operates in the Private client share dealing / platform arena with a niche value offering which may not suit all investors needs, but their service and their shares are cheap in comparison with the likes of AJ Bell (LON:AJB) & Hargreaves Lansdown (LON:HL.) As a beneficiary of the pick up in share dealing this year generally it has done & continues to trade quite well.
