On the old system it was possible to print out a screen directly. On the new system printing out a screen results in the list of screen being printed on top. Ugh! Can this problem be avoided? If so How?
I rarely use use the new system, there are a couple of new features that I use on the new system but apart from that I find the old system so much easier and better for me.
I also switched back, the charts on the new system have so many bugs I went back to the old site

barrymcc - Sorry to hear this is causing frustration. I'm pleased to say that printing is one of the issues being tackled in the current engineering sprint, so you'll see this issue solved very shortly.

In that case it's worth checking out the latest Product Update (here) - the team has fixed a raft of charting bugs over the Christmas period. Please do give it another go when you get the chance & let us know if there are any outstanding issues.
Have tried the new site again but the issues with the thumbnail charts have not been fixed.
Is there a fix date for/sprint run scheduled for this please? It's been 6 months now and it makes the new site unuseable for me.
The new site has had some improvements on charts but I still prefer the old site, also I like the old charts which are not available on the new site. For me there are still loads of issues on the new site. I don't use a mobile and the old site is fine on an ipad, I can't see any improvement using the new site, in fact many things are worst. The forum and the folios are a mess on the new site.
I also remain on the old site. I use the mobile version quite often, but the new site only has a fraction of the data on the Stockreports. I find it of limited use to be honest.
If you can contact Support (by clicking on the green speech button) with some more details around the thumbnail charts, then the team there should be able to provide you with more of a timeline.
Dmjram i tried the charts after todays update, big improvement on last week. the draw tool is working better and i've gotten the volume chart back
Good to hear the full size charts have improved.
The thumbnail charts are still in their dumbed down state though unfortunately.
No volume, no grid, far too much banner clutter and an over smoothed chart line that tells you nothing,
I want to see a list of companies the screeners ranked say 5 years ago but haven't figured how to do it.
Did the old version allow you to Print a Screener list from a previous time?
I've just joined on the subscription trial so I guess I'm locked into this new site.
I also have problems with charts on the new site. On a regular basis, the chart page stops allowing me to choose the colour of any items I am drawing on the charts (lines, ellipses, etc) so everything is stuck in the same colour... at which point I switch back to the old site.
I also can't alter the height of sub-windows within the chart page - so if I have it set up for the price graph, MACD, volume, and RSI then I can't change the height of any of these. This was available on the old site.
A couple of days ago I tried to get on to the "new" site on my mobile (android & Firefox) : no luck it kept taking me to the old site.
I cannot help thinking if the time, money and effort had been that has been put into the new site had been spent on the old, what a product Stockopedia could and should have been.
Who wants to, or is capable of, utilising the features in Stockopedia to any serious degree on a 5" screen?
It's probably a bit like HS2, new is exciting and sexy, developing the existing far less so.
It gives me no pleasure to write in such a negative vein, but my experiences fully warrant it.

It's tricky to switch from the old site to the new site with your phone. The best way to do it is to switch to the new site on your desktop, then use Stockopedia on your phone.
No I don’t think that is possible, if the share is included in the screen you can see when it qualified not sure if it goes back 5 years though. But the issue you don’t even know which shares are included in the Guru screens due to the quarterly rebalancing or whatever, so even though it may qualify it does not mean it contributes to the performance of the screen.so it is different to see which shares are causing the performance. I think there needs to be more clarity on what is included in the screens.
I use I pad only and cannot read the y axes on the new site, the font is too small. Can’t seem to zoom in on it to expand it either. Much prefer the original chart format on the old site, the format of which is sadly not available on the new site. Additionally as far as I am aware it is not yet possible to screen for chart signals (golden cross, RSI oversold, etc) on the new site. Is the long term plan to shut the old site down or will it always be available in parallel with the new site?
I use Faststone Screen Capture which allows capture off any part of a screen you designate , that can then be printed or stored as a file ; clip brd, or any MS Program Power Point etc. allows for time delay to allow for opening files etc and very much more. Also have file resizing which is good for e-mails. Free download & use for 30 days & very inexpensive. I have used it for yrs without any problems. Perfect piece of S/W.
