These quotes really inspire me. Which quotes inspire you?

I also couldn't understand why that link is in a thread about investment quotes. However, there is a wonderful Warren Buffet quote on page three of that magazine.

Just very busy, Dan, I just wanted to post the link on Stockopedia so that people on here can get the magazine. This seemed to be the thread most engaging people's attention. Actually, by signing up to Beaufort's daily bulletin and getting on their mailing list, "Shares" seems to come free along with it from time to time.

Jane, please can you confirm whether or not you are able to post links to shares magazine weekly. As a paying subscriber to the magazine, seeing this free link infuriates me and I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription.

Steve,no. The free access comes for a couple of weeks every three months or so, to people signed up for the Beaufort investment bulletins. It is a promotional exercise by Beaufort Securities.

I'm not getting involved in any dispute with "Shares" magazine. I merely posted the links here as something that could interest other investors here. I did note it was "courtesy of Beaufort Securities", making the source quite clear.

Hi Jane.

Thanks for posting the Shares magazine. I hadn't seen it before and found both this and the edition you posted last week interesting, not least because I hold some of the shares covered. The quality of the analysis is pretty good, to the extent that I am considering subscribing which is presumably the purpose behind the original mail shot of the freebie (i.e. to solicit new readers). I suspect the publishers would be quite grateful that you have reached out on their behalf to this particular affinity group of investors.

I guess you can only please some of the people some of the time ....

Since there were some adverse comments on here to my having posted links to the issues of "Shares" magazine offered by Beaufort Securities (I was even "reported for advertising"!), I will not be posting those particular links any more since I can't be bothered (and don't have the time) to get involved with tedious arguments. However, anyone wishing to obtain these, when offered free by Beaufort, may simply sign up for Beaufort's free daily bulletin from where they can themselves click through to the magazine, when it is offered.
