I have been looking at a couple of Russian stocks. £ogzd is one. Though LSE price seems to be almost double the US dollar price that the shares are trading on MCX for? Can anyone help with the discrepancy.
Again, sberbank Sberbank Rossii PAO (LON:SBER) is trading at 159 RUB ($2.50USD) on the MCX but $9.90USD on LSE?? What am I missing?
If you really want to invest in Russia why not just buy JPMorgan Russian Securities Closed Fund (LON:JRS) & get a professionally managed and diversified exposure at a discount which is listed on the LSE and priced in Sterling? Hope this helps.
I think I have found my answer. I was going by Google finance for the MEX. This seems to be a decimal place out, or I'm not readfing it right. Ethier way thats the discrepancy.
Re jjis - I want to manage my own portolio, and learn how to pick and choose the best, thats why I'm here.

Your advice was fine, I did think about a managed fund but just want to be a little more selective and be able to sell out when I want. Maybe someone gave you a thumbs down because you didn''t actually answer my question.
