Fyi Paul updated his Twitter feed to say ...

"Sorry for late notice, but I'm going to take the rest of the week off. So apols for no more small cap reports - sick of people attacking me"

As is often the case if you have the courage to put your head above the parapet people feel it's open season. I'm guessing the attacks are occurring at another site as the community here feels supportive and constructive when they do challenge.

Chin up Paul and remember the wise words of my lecturer ...

"When people throw sh1t at you, you don't have to catch it!"

So who has upset Paul then??? And I was particularly hoping for Paul's comments this morning about Indigovision in view of his previous in-depth comments etc.

Anyway, in support of Paul (and to use his latest method of ascertaining opinion) I give "Phils Twitter update" a "thumbs up" click and suggest other supporters do the same.

I don't know but another financial forum is full of vociferous opinions and is loosely moderated. I gave up reading the forums there as it takes too long to sort the wheat from the considerable chaff a lot of which is unsubstantiated ramping and undermining of individuals offering a contrary position.

Quite agree. I find the accounting insights particularly informative. So anyway thumbs up, enjoy the rest and don't let them get you down.

I to find Paul's analysis excellent and insightful - Part on my morning's routine is to see what Paul has to say about small caps and more often or not act accordingly. So enjoy a few days respite and I look forward to more of the same.

Paul's insight into small cap world is one of the reason I chose Stockopedia as my screener . DYOR is often mentioned and that opportunity is open to all who read his notes . Small caps do carry risk however and often have wide spreads which have to be negotiated and that is the readers responsibility.
Paul interpretes results impartially , he states his view and then its up to the reader. do you don't you?
Stuff happens in the corporate world lets not shot the messenger !!

Paul's reports are the the most, up to date,honest, reliable and comprehensive available tempered with his experience and accountant's training. He works his socks off between 7 and 11 a.m., then he spends time meeting board members and others and passes the information on for the benefit of others. All he asks is DYOR and I suspect that those that criticise don't. Paul don't let them get you down.

So much of the "impartial" stock analysis out there is candy coated nonsense written by sell side analysts. So Paul's no nonsense, tell it like it is approach is a breath of fresh air. The detractors need to "man up" and take some responsibility for their own investment decisions. However if you do "tell it like it is" you will get attacks from those who don't like what you are saying.

I hope I speak for others when I say that the silent majority like your approach and appreciate your candor, as well as your considerable financial/balance sheet knowledge. Keep up the good work!

Pauls style is fantastic. He has an hour or so to analyse shares which he has sometimes hasnt heard of before and which he makes some great conclusions regarding. Some agree and some disagree depending on their position.
I find it refreshing that he provides both strong negative views of companies as well as the positive. It surely helps us all build a fuller picture of the company and generates some well informed discussion.

Just seen this thread, nice to see some positive comments, much appreciated!

I just got a bit over-stressed last week, but have had a good rest over the weekend, and will come out with all guns blazing tomorrow morning, gunning down delusional shareholders & weak Balance Sheets wherever I find them LOL!!!

CRW looks good to me for 3 reasons. Firstly software is in the mix. Secondly the US is involved with it's massive problem with healthcare. Thirdly it is moving upward trend still going up.
. Revenue profits and EPS all look positive. I am still learning my way round this stockopedia and just found volume deals on it. Do not think the star rating verry useful because it seems to take into account the last 3 years history. No doubt Paul, a man of your experiance, you may consider I am totally wrong and you can suggest something else much better. What is your opinion? This is your thread.By the way I hope everyone is not going over the CGT limit & dealing inside an ISA.. Hope this is useful. Meanwhile Google has shot up & Royal Mail hitting the £5.00 mark.
