Biography

I’m a private investor who has been active in the markets since the late ’90s. Since 2013 I’ve followed a simple, rules-based, factor-driven approach focused on Quality, Value and Momentum allied with Ichimoku charting. Over the past 12 years this process has delivered a +656% track record, which I discussed in a Stockopedia webinar with CEO Ed Croft on building a systematic investing workflow.

I document my process across multiple markets and share my research, tools and portfolio insights through my project, Grow Your Dough. My goal is to make investing clearer and more accessible for beginners and time-poor adults by focusing on evidence-based methods, transparency and long-term discipline.

QM Blueprint (Dynamic, Factor-Driven Strategy)

My primary approach since 2013 is a systematic, rules-based strategy focused on Quality and Momentum allied with Ichimoku charting. It adapts dynamically to market conditions while maintaining strict factor exposure, using clear rules for screening, ranking and position sizing. The goal is to capture long-term factor premiums through disciplined execution, avoiding forecasts and discretionary decision-making. This process has delivered a +656% 12-year track record across multiple markets.

Light Touch VM (Simple, Low-Maintenance Strategy for Time-Poor Investors)

Alongside my main process, I also support a simplified, beginner-friendly approach designed for investors with limited time. Light Touch VM uses broad Value and Momentum principles but with far fewer decisions, minimal monitoring and a calm, long-term focus. It prioritises clarity, consistency and accessibility, helping new investors build confidence without complexity or constant portfolio management
