As the system captures the date of purchase of a share in a folio can the system add a column date of purchase to a folio.
What I want to do is count the number of days I have held a share from date of purchase to today’s date.
Can this be done?

Has this worked for you? I just get all of them as today's date. I'm going to raise it on the green button.
Is it technically possible? If you do one purchase yes, but if you build a stake in multiple purchases which one would you want displayed. All the information is easily available in the transaction tab.
Probably easier to use a Google sheet with finance function etc. You can always import / copy data from Stockopedia into it too.
Never tried it, just saw it could be added. Maybe because you only added the column today, going forward it may work. But ask Oliver on the support team.
Stockopedia's "trade date" is the calendar date of the last trade on the exchange. For most currently listed stocks it will be today most of the time. Infrequently traded stocks might have an earlier date. It's got nothing to do with the individual's trading.
