I would have thought the quality, value & potential return from of the investment should be much more important than the frequency of dividend payment.

If you are interested in dividends from FTSE 350 Companies then you might find this service of interest.

Have a look at Jarvis (JIM) quarterly dividends and prospective yield of 4.1% and growing. StockRank 96 market Cap £55m with a lot of cash sitting on the B/S.
