Hi,
Is there a particular reason why the Value Rank uses ttm PE rather than the forecast values?
If you intend to keep it like this could you also introduce a version that uses the forecast values as your version doesnt really help me pick out the value shares of the future.
For example Let's Gowex SA (MCE:GOW) is a lovely looking high quality Spanish IT stock with a great growth record, however they currently show a Value Rank of 18 on a PE (ttm) of 22.5, however the fwd PE is a more reasonable 14.
This great stock gets lost in a Growth Screen if I add a value parameter such as ValueRank > 50
I'd be interested in your thoughts.
Cheers
Phil
I abandoned the Value Rank and instead added a PEG filter.
I called the screen Beautiful Growth (http://www.stockopedia.com/screens/beautifulgrowth-9284/) as it selects high quality growth stocks with beautiful historic revenue, eps and profit graphs.
Enjoy!
