I really like this stock and can't find anything to fault it until I noticed that Share Sales amounting to £5 million have been activated by Abran Gyorgy and a further amount of £0.75 million by the CEO, this could be just part of the remuneration package but also yesterday the CFO, Sonia Burdeus resigned for personal reasons. Apart from that the figures are uncomfortably good and consistent. Thoughts anyone?
Hi Ken.
This is quite a strange stock to get to grips with. It's been towards the top of the Stockopedia QVM screen for at least the past year yet the share price has been very volatile. Likewise the growth in routes offered and in particular the passenger utilisation stats have been superb. It bombed after the Brexit vote in July (like many of the travel sector stocks and given their close association with Eastern Europe/UK cheap fare travel) and was also hit by some of the noise over ME tourist routes. I recall there was also a potential issue with something in their governing mem and arts that might prevent non-EU (I.e. UK post Brexit) shareholders having more than 50% of the shares thereby queering the pitch for UK shareholders although angst on this seems to have died down. Shares seem to have got their mojo back again, although sales by the directors might take some of the steam out of the recent rise. I hold at an average price of about £15/share but somehow never quite feel relaxed about the holding. One to keep a close watch on - trust but verify and all that .....
Gus.
