Block Admission

 

Aberdeen Equity Income Trust plc (the "Company") has made an application to
the London Stock Exchange for a block admission totalling 2,446,076 ordinary
shares of 25 pence each ("Shares") to be admitted to the Official List and to
trading on the London Stock Exchange.

 

The Ordinary Shares may be issued under the block admission pursuant to the
Company's existing general authority to issue shares on a non-pre-emptive
basis. The Shares may be issued inter alia to satisfy continuing market demand
for the Shares and to manage the premium to net asset value at which the
Company's ordinary shares trade. When issued, the new Shares will rank pari
passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. The block admission is
expected to become effective at 8:00 a.m. on 26 February 2026.
