U.S. stocks rose on Friday, with gains in defensive sectors including consumer
staples and real estate helping extend a two-day rally, although weakness in
technology companies capped gains. .N

23,150.65. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.14 percent at 2,492.28 and the Nasdaq
