Adaptimmune: Climbs on positive data from soft tissue cancer study

** Shares of cancer therapy developer  ADAP.O  rise 11.6% to
$5.47 
    ** ADAP on Wednesday reported initial results from its
mid-stage study testing its therapy candidate afami-cel, in
patients with advanced synovial sarcoma or myxoid/round cell
liposarcoma (MRCLS) - two types of soft tissue cancers
    ** Says 39.3% or 13 out of 33 patients in the trial
experienced cancer shrinkage, with the figure being 41.4% for
synovial sarcoma and 25% for MRCLS patients - Co
    ** Data to be presented at the American Society of Clinical

    ** Brokerage Cowen says it is confident that full data from
the study will support afami-cel's FDA approval in sarcoma
    ** Estimates U.S. sales of ~$125 mln and global sales of
