U.S. stocks opened lower on Thursday, weighed by a drop in the technology sector
after Apple Inc's AAPL.O rare sales warning inflamed fears that the Sino-U.S.
trade war and a slowing China economy would eat into corporate profits more than
expected. .N
At 9:39 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 1.44 percent at
23,009.07. The S&P 500 .SPX was down 1.05 percent at 2,483.63 and the Nasdaq
Composite .IXIC was down 1.35 percent at 6,576.096.
