Allena Pharma up on starting patient dosing in gout therapy trial

** Drug developer's  ALNA.O  shares rise 1.6% to 91 cents
    ** Co starts dosing in outpatient phase of mid-stage study
of ALLN-346, its candidate for treatment of gout in patients

    ** Mid-stage study comprises two-week outpatient trial and a
one-week inpatient trial currently being conducted in a clinical
pharmacology unit
    ** Outpatient study expected to enroll 24 patients with gout
and mild-to-moderate CKD, who have excess uric acid in the blood
    ** Co expects to report initial data from both portions of
the study beginning late 2021 or early 2022
